Building bridges
When you look at my photo, you see someone wearing a suit and even a tie. That may create the impression that I like to keep a certain distance. But that’s not who I am.
Since the COVID pandemic, my office attire has become a little more informal. One of the things I enjoy most is building bridges between people. Equality is the starting point in the way I interact with others, regardless of differences in background, origin, or culture.
Together with my Colombian partner, I have built a life in Amsterdam. Although we are very different in many respects, we share a love for our dog Kim and a passion for design and architecture. Our different backgrounds enrich our lives and often prompt us to hold up a figurative mirror to one another, helping us challenge our assumptions and see the world from a different perspective.
