Behind every photograph is a story. This is a small part of mine.
What story do you see?
Do you see someone who loves to stay active? And/or do you see someone who believes in the power of listening, understanding, and genuine human connection? And/or do you see a doctor?
Perhaps the real story lies beyond the first impression. For most of my working life, including here at APG/ABP, I work with people whose lives have been affected by war experiences and military service. Through these encounters, I have learned how important it is to listen, to understand, and simply to be there for others. Outside work, I enjoy many kinds of sport, especially outdoor activities. Sport gives me energy, balance, and perspective. It helps me take care of both my body and mind.
A photograph can reveal something about a person, but never the whole story. Behind this picture is someone who values connection, believes in people, and is passionate about helping others when they need it most.
